We collect information needed to run the marketplace, fulfil orders, support sellers, personalize discovery, prevent misuse, and improve ShadowLook. We do not ask you to put passwords, full payment-card details, or unrelated sensitive information in support messages or product artwork.
Scope and who we are
ShadowLook is a marketplace built and operated by Wogza Technologies (PVT) Limited. This policy applies when you browse ShadowLook, create an account, buy or sell products, use customization tools, interact with recommendations, contact support, or otherwise use our customer and seller services.
Independent sellers may separately process information required to fulfil an order. Their own notices may also apply when they determine how they use information outside ShadowLook. This policy does not control unaffiliated websites or services reached through external links.
We process personal data in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements, including Sri Lanka's Personal Data Protection Act where it applies.

How we use information
- Provide accounts, marketplace browsing, search, saved products, carts, checkout, orders, delivery, returns, and customer support.
- Publish and administer seller shops, listings, stock, delivery options, category proposals, and creator collections.
- Validate identity, order totals, coupons, inventory, delivery fees, and other transaction details.
- Recommend products, categories, shops, banners, and campaigns that may be more relevant to you.
- Measure marketplace performance, attribution, experiments, and the effect of personalized and non-personalized experiences.
- Detect fraud, abuse, prohibited listings, account compromise, technical failures, and policy violations.
- Meet legal, accounting, audit, tax, dispute, and regulatory obligations.
- Communicate service updates and, where permitted and selected, marketing messages or journey reminders.
Personalization and marketplace measurement
ShadowLook can use recent and historical marketplace activity to rank products and categories, populate home-page collections, select promotional content, and improve search or category results. Signals may include products viewed or saved, searches, purchases, category interests, campaign interactions, and similar activity.
New visitors may see broadly popular, recent, or contextual products until enough relevant activity is available. Personalization changes ordering and presentation; it does not prevent you from searching or browsing the wider catalogue.
We also measure product views, searches, clicks, add-to-cart events, checkout steps, purchases, refunds, campaign attribution, and experiment variants. These records help us understand marketplace performance, seller outcomes, and whether a personalized experience is useful.
Retention and security
We retain personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain business and transaction records, resolve disputes, enforce marketplace rules, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods differ by data type and may continue after account closure where records must be preserved.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal data, including access controls and authenticated account functions. No service can guarantee absolute security. Protect your credentials, use a unique password, and contact support promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law and the context, you may ask to access, correct, update, erase, restrict, or receive information about personal data, object to certain processing, withdraw a consent choice, or challenge a relevant automated outcome. Some requests may be limited where we must preserve transaction, fraud, legal, or dispute records.
- Update available profile, address, and communication preferences through your account.
- Manage browser cookies and local storage through browser controls.
- Use the authenticated support form for an account or privacy request so we can verify the requester.
- Contact the relevant data-protection authority if you believe a concern has not been addressed.
International processing and children
Marketplace sellers and service providers may operate in different countries. Where information is processed across borders, we use contractual, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the service and applicable requirements.
ShadowLook is not intended for children who cannot lawfully create and manage an account or enter marketplace transactions on their own. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal data without appropriate authorization should contact support.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the marketplace, technology, or legal requirements change. The updated version will show a revised date, and significant changes may also be communicated through the service or account contact details.
For privacy questions or requests, use the authenticated support form. For rules governing purchases, sellers, delivery, returns, refunds, and custom products, read the Marketplace Policies.
